Description & Requirements

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Policy Analyst to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Analyze, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate current and future security policies.
  • Provide analysis, assessment, applicability, and communication of security policy impacts to leadership.
  • Provide analytical support to assist with the research, development, coordination, maintenance, review, and revision of security policies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise reviews of security waivers and manage the security waiver module.
  • Provide subject matter expertise reviews of actions for security leadership.
  • Assist the government as the Assessable Unit Coordinator in support of the Management Control Program.
  • Conduct domestic and OCONUS travel up to 25% of the time.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with 20+ years, Associate's Degree with 17+ years, Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years, or Master's Degree with 7+ years of relevant security experience.
  • Strong foundation in writing and research with the ability to organize ideas and present findings in a logical manner.
  • Ability to manage a steady flow of work, balance limited information, and quickly shift priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge and operational experience implementing Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) as well as agency-specific directives and instructions.
  • Skilled in effective oral communication techniques to explain, justify, or discuss complex security issues with facts and objective analysis.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and alternative government agency security policies.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience interfacing directly with senior government executives to deliver policy impact briefings.
  • Advanced certifications in federal enterprise security management or policy analysis.
  • Experience managing or optimizing automated workflows for policy tracking and waiver documentation.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and other common workspace gear.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
