iidon Security Associates is currently seeking a Security Operations Manager for our Houston market. The Security Operations Manager will oversee the security management and general business operations of the Houston area, including, operations, training, and customer relations. He/she will direct and coordinate all functions of security to maximize efficiencies and ensure the highest level of service to customers. Requirements: • High school diploma/GED. • Minimum of ten (10) years private security management experience. • Successfully managed accounts ranging from "Class A" high-rise buildings to large corporate campuses and high-end residential communities. • A working knowledge of the criminal justice system along with civil, labor and state laws governing private security operations.. • Available on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week. • American Heart Association CPR Instructor is a plus. Responsibilities: • Involved in security bid processes and proposals for prospective clients. • Participate in the development of new project proposals. • Serve as key point for client contact to ensure delivery of high quality customer service for assigned sites. Evaluate service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner. • Oversee, coordinate with line management, and participate in the recruitment, selection, orientation, training, development, and retention of staff. Act to ensure that each staff member is treated with dignity and respect. • Plan, assign, and direct work. • Initiate and update policies, procedures and all work instructions. • Participate in internal investigations, conduct security assessments and audits. • Provide problem resolution when necessary. • Evaluate service levels and proactively seek ways to enhance relationship with the client, especially in relation to cost effectiveness. • Oversee and coordinate any special functions or events on or off site. • Act as liaison between local law enforcement agencies and management during crisis situations. • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed and new policies implemented as required. • Create and implement account post orders, safety programs, and onsite training programs. • Maintain practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions that are called for by our clients. • Respond to security officer's call-off's, tardiness, and emergencies in order to maintain contractual obligations are met with all clients. • Oversee disciplinary actions and terminations. • Monitor and track all overtime, turnover, and special training for each account to ensure costs are managed efficiently. • Responsible for quality control elements for each account.
