What You'll Do:- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or responding agencies while maintaining professional conduct in a technology-focused environment.
Minimum Requirements:- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least one year of armed guard, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a .40 caliber endorsement.
- Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
