Security Manager
We are looking for a Security Manager to lead and coordinate all security-related activities at APM Terminals MedPort Tangier (TM2). Reporting to the Head of HSSE, you will serve as the terminal’s focal point for security, ensuring compliance with security regulations, managing security risks, protecting people and assets, and supporting business continuity through effective security governance and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and ensure compliance with the ISPS Code, local regulations, and APM Terminals security requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the Terminal Security Plan, procedures, protocols, and contingency arrangements.
- Conduct security risk assessments, inspections, drills, exercises, and compliance reviews to identify and mitigate threats.
- Lead security risk management activities related to theft, smuggling, corruption, violence, and other operational security threats.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with government authorities, law enforcement agencies, customs, emergency services, and port stakeholders.
- Monitor security performance through KPIs, incident reporting, governance processes, and corrective action implementation.
- Deliver security awareness programs, training, investigations, and support the implementation of Duty of Care programs across the terminal.

- Master's degree in Security Management, Business Administration, International Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Proven experience in security management, law enforcement, military, port security, or a related discipline, with experience managing security risks and incidents.
- Strong knowledge of the ISPS Code, security risk management principles, compliance frameworks, and relevant regulatory requirements. ISPS/PFSO certification is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, engage with authorities, and build effective working relationships across diverse environments.
- Fluent in English with strong analytical, communication, reporting, and Microsoft Office skills. Arabic and/or French is an advantage.
