Full Job Description
Position Summary:
ANSER is actively hiring for a Security Manager for Special Access Programs (SAP) to work in support of the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Research & Engineering). In this key role, you will serve as a security specialist in support of the Special Access Program Control Officer for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) for Research and Engineering.

This position does not allow remote or hybrid work options with all job duties performed full-time onsite at the Suffolk Building in Falls Church, VA.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed plans, tasks, milestones, and schedules to ensure proper governance and oversight of activities, processes, and costs for assigned efforts within the SAP portfolio.
  • Support issues including SAP and restricted Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) governance and oversight, resources, requirements capabilities and program coordination.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the Department to support development of SAP guidance, policy, and directives; provide resulting deliverables via in-person, written, and virtual presentations to DoD senior leaders.
  • Assist in the functions of personnel security (PERSEC), physical security (PHYSEC), communication security (COMSEC), continuity of operations (COOP), information security/operations security (INFOSEC/OPSEC), industrial security (INDSEC), and general security administration (customer support).

Required Qualifications:
  • Possess an active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or a combination of lower-level education, formal training and experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in a contractor program security officer (CPSO)-level position with at least 3 cumulative years in acquisition SAPs - last SAP-related position must be within the last nine months
  • Direct knowledge, experience, and expertise working with SAP capability requirements, their factors/considerations, and related statute(s), policy, directives, instructions, and guidance.
  • Experience maintaining compliance with appropriate security measures
  • Strong communication, briefing and technical writing skills

Full Time Salary Range for this position for this position:
