We are looking for highly qualified
candidates for a potential upcoming contract positioned onsite at the Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) SSHINE contract.
Job description:
At a journeyman level:
- Supports the development of security plans and details security policies.
- Implements and designs security countermeasures to respond in the event of a security breach.
- Coordinates security rules and internal access authorization with IT Operations leadership and management. Configures and maintains user access and accounts.
- Ensures compliance with security policies and procedures as well as industry-specific regulations.
- Evaluates and recommends security and equipment updates as necessary.
- Prepares and maintains technical documentation.
- Conducts periodic risk management audits to ensure company security is updated and as effective as possible.
- May design, lead and conduct security policy training and education.
- Researches and implements latest security threats and methods to counteract security risks.
Sample tasks include:
- Support Hardware/Software-in-the-Loop and Cloud Computing Architecture development: cloud architectures, cross-domain solutions to move data between classification levels, environment maintenance, and cybersecurity/information assurance support (incl. DoD risk management framework compliance).
- Accomplish ground architecture cybersecurity accreditations on behalf of RVE, including obtaining and maintaining Authorities to Operate (ATOs).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/ Years of Relevant Experience: 10+ years of experience with BS degree or 5+ years of experience with MS degree or 0+ years of experience with PhD degree
- Clearance: TS with eligibility for SCI Poly
