Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of management, operational, and technical controls in strict compliance with Federal and DoD cybersecurity policies
- Evaluate system threats, vulnerabilities, and Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability impact levels to determine risk severity and recommend corrective safeguards
- Author, review, and approve critical security documentation, including Security Assessment Reports (SAR) and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M)
- Develop recommendations for authorization and submitting the security authorization packages
- Evaluate proposed system changes and provide technical guidance, risk briefings, and formal authorization recommendations to Authorizing Officials (AO) and System Owners
- Travel as required to attend meetings, conferences, site visits, compliance reviews, and training
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in the specified field and more than five (5) years of experience
- Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance and be eligible and approved for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Please Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
- Candidate shall complete the following Security Training, Education, and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) training courses upon assignment or no later than 60 calendar days and prior to performing associated duties:
- Introduction to the Risk Management Framework RMF (CS124.16).
- Must have one (1) of the following skills and/or qualifications:
- CompTIA Security+.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Compensation Details:$115K-$167K depending on location
