Description:Vice President, Securitization & Structured Products will help build the firm's securitization and structured finance platform across residential mortgage, consumer, commercial, and specialty asset classes.
The candidate will play a central role in structuring and execution of warehouse facilities and capital markets securitization transactions. This is a high-impact, analytically rigorous role that sits at the intersection of capital markets, credit analysis and financial modeling.
Will also consider candidates with fewer years of experience for an Associate title.
Responsibilities:Modeling
- Build, maintain and stress-test cash flow securitization models across ABS and RMBS asset classes
- Develop and validate collateral performance assumptions, including prepayment speeds, default ratings, loss severities, and delinquency roll rates
- Structure cash flow waterfalls, subordination, reserve accounts, and other credit enhancement mechanisms
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to support rating agency submissions and investor materials
Transaction execution
- Support end-to-end deal execution from collateral diligence through closing, including coordinating with issuers, rating agencies, trustees and legal counsel
- Prepare offering memoranda, term sheets, investor presentations and analytics
- Interface with trading desks, syndicate, and structuring teams
Portfolio and Risk Analytics
- Monitor performance of existing warehouse exposure; produce periodic surveillance reports and trigger analysis
- Analyze collateral to identify credit trends and concentration risks
- Assist in the preparation of internal credit committee and risk presentations
Qualifications:Required
- 4+ years of experience structuring securitizations (ABS and/or RMBS) at a bank, broker-dealer, accounting firm, or private credit firm
- Demonstrated proficiency in cash flow modeling; advanced excel and/or python skills
- Strong understanding of cash flow drivers including consumer credit fundamentals, prepayment dynamics, etc
- Familiarity with rating agency methodologies
Preferred
- Bachelors degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or related quantitative field
- Experience with INTEX, Bloomberg ABS/MBS analytics
- CFA candidate or charterholder
- Dallas location; remote will be considered
