Zions Bancorporation's Capital Markets Analyst Program positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). Zions Capital Markets ("ZCM") operates as a division of Zions Bancorporation and comprises five product areas that operate as a unified, national platform with deep regional expertise. Our teams collaborate to deliver targeted, client-driven solutions to help companies raise capital and execute strategic transactions efficiently and effectively.

  • Investment Banking: Provides advisory and execution services, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (sell-side/buy-side transactions), capital raising, and strategic advisory. Customized engagements assist clients in achieving strategic milestones throughout their business lifecycle, including growth and transition strategies, with meticulous attention to detail and process
  • Debt Capital Markets: Provides debt solutions to clients through Loan Syndications and Securities Underwriting. Loan Syndications structures and arranges multi-bank credit facilities ranging in sizes from $50MM to $1B+. Securities Underwriting* provides execution capabilities for capital raising activities including underwriting debt and equity for public and private securities issuances
  • Power & Project Finance: Originates and executes custom financing solutions for owners of power generation assets and power-related infrastructure projects across the U.S. via a specialized team of experienced industry experts
  • Real Estate Capital Markets: Empowers Zions to provide financing solutions throughout the property lifecycle, including ownership, operation, construction, and stabilization, by offering conduit lending, allowing borrowers to access public market. The team directly originates nationwide 5 and 10-year fixed rate non-recourse senior mortgages for securitization collateralized by commercial real estate
  • Sales & Trading: Provides a full array of foreign exchange, commodities and interest rate risk management solutions to assist clients with managing exposure to changes in price volatility in the market

Full-Time Capital Markets Analyst Program:

The ZCM 2-year Analyst Program offers a unique experience to join a rapidly growing platform and team. The program offers the opportunity to maximize Analysts' potential in these early professional years, providing foundational knowledge, skills, and experiences that will last a professional lifetime. Analysts will immediately take an active role within their team (while completing a formal training program), working alongside seasoned banking professionals to successfully meet the needs of our clients.

The Securities Underwriting Team navigates both public and private debt and equity issuances to deliver expert, issuer-first guidance and seamless execution across investment-grade, high-yield, equity, and securitized markets, specializing in solutions ranging from bonds and ABS to IPOs, follow-ons, and private placements. This role will be critical in supporting senior members through the entire transaction lifecycle, partnering across a broad array of industries including Consumer Products, Financial Institutions, Energy, Manufacturing, and Home Builders to help clients efficiently navigate capital-raising and achieve their strategic goals.

Location:

Zions Capital Markets has offices throughout the U.S. including in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Houston, Charlotte, and Fort Lauderdale.

Zions Capital Markets is looking for candidates who have:
  • Completed BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, and/or related majors, with a scheduled graduation prior to the annual June 7th start date
  • Overall GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Strong interest in finance and capital markets
  • High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement
  • Proven analytical ability, critical thinking, and attention to detail
  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Comfortable working with peers at all levels, ranging from fellow analysts through Managing Directors
  • Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program
