Full Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing the Process, Automation, Maintenance, Set-up and Technical Trainees for their respective section which includes; training, assigning of daily tasks/priorities and managing their accountability.
• Ensure customer requirements are met.
• Review Corrective actions.
• Understand all product and quality specification of active products.
• Ensures all job changes are correctly started up; ex: cycle times, overall process of machines and automation.
• Involved with the sampling, molds/materials of new products.
• Oversees Set-up operation for mold changes.
• On call for troubleshooting.
• Production change over.
• Ensure company systems (ISO, QS, UL, NSF policies) are in place, followed and properly maintained.
• Ensures that product meets established quality criteria.
• Develop and communicate plans to reduce scrap and manage regrind effectively.
• Ensure duties are defined, communicated and met by direct reports.
• Review and approve all performance evaluations.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Review and investigate all accident reports.
• Ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees by upholding policies and procedures.
• Review machine capacity, production schedule and work order assignments.
• Assign action items and follow-up on completion and hold people accountable.
• Audit manufacturing cycle times and report issues.
• Responsible for leading & participating in continuous improvement activities.
• Responsible for monitoring & requiring proper usage of work forms & thorough completion of all preventative maintenance throughout the plant.
• HACCP Team Member if name defined on HACCP Plan(s)
