What are your contributions to the team?
• Act as primary engineering contact for Operations on the weekend shift (Friday to Sunday, 6AM to 6PM).
• Manage priorities and handle escalations.
• Lead team of Engineer to support operations related issues regarding installations and cabinets components on the Global 5500/6500/7500
• Supervise and support Liaison Eng MRB related to structure and systems' installation and provide technical support for Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) raised by Quality Agents
• Provide guidance and ensure on-time delivery of engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with different internal parties (Operations, Detailed Design, Projects, Programs, Technical, etc.) for problem solving on daily basis
• Support Engineering request for change (RFC). Coordinate technical meetings, analyze, and define technical proposed solution to meet customer and operation needs
• Be responsible for the delivery of quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards
• Establish yearly objectives for the team and continuous improvement plan.
• Perform employee evaluations via PMP/PDP process, salary and progression reviews.
• Support and coach employees.

How to thrive in this role?
• You have a Bachelor of Engineering degree and/or a relevant technical degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in aerospace.
• You have experience with interior completions, aircraft structures, system installation and/or manufacturing operations.
• You are knowledgeable in nonconformity management and Material Review Board (MRB) activities, an asset.
• You are knowledgeable in interior completion design and engineering change management, an asset.
• You have experience supervising or leading a team.
