As a Test Automation Engineer, you are responsible for the automated verification and validation of software products throughout the development lifecycle. You possess strong technical expertise in test automation, programming, and modern testing methodologies, enabling you to design and execute robust automation frameworks independently. With hands-on experience in various testing tools and techniques, you ensure high-quality and reliable product delivery.
Your Role
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as UFT and Selenium to ensure product quality.
- Build and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks aligned with project requirements.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to automation scripts, tools, and environments.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely defect management.
- Continuously improve automation strategies, test effectiveness, and overall QA processes.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior QA engineers to enhance team capabilities.
- Contribute to test planning, estimation, and reporting while ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Your skills and experience
- Strong 7-8 yeas of hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium, with proficiency in scripting languages.
- Experience in Cucumber, Playwright and Tosca is good to have.
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks, test methodologies, and SDLC/STLC processes.Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reusable automation solutions.
- Proven ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve automation-related technical issues efficiently.
- Experience working with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and integrating automation into pipelines.Strong knowledge of test data management, environment setup, and defect tracking tools.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and promote best practices in automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proactive and quality-driven mindset.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $68,911 - $161,544
