Description

Position Summary:

The Scrum of Scrums Manager coordinates cross-team Agile execution across workstreams. You will facilitate dependency management, resolve blockers, improve delivery flow, and ensure teams stay aligned on priorities, risks, releases, and program-level commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate Scrum of Scrums ceremonies, cross-team coordination meetings, dependency reviews, and delivery syncs

- Track and escalate blockers, risks, cross-team dependencies, decisions, and action items through closure

- Coordinate with scrum masters, product owners, delivery managers, architects, DevSecOps, testing, and program leadership

- Support release planning, sprint alignment, PI planning, roadmap coordination, and readiness reviews

- Maintain visibility into team progress, velocity trends, dependency health, and delivery risks

- Drive consistent Agile practices, communication rhythms, and metrics across multiple teams

- Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve predictability, transparency, and flow across workstreams

- Use AI-assisted tools to summarize ceremonies, identify risks, draft status updates, and analyze delivery patterns

Requirements

Non-Technical Requirements:

- Must be a U.S. Citizen.

- Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (3-4 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.

- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance

- Strong communication and presentation skills.

- Must be able to prioritize and self-start.

- Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.

Required Qualifications:

- 6+ years of Agile delivery, scrum master, release coordination, program coordination, or delivery management experience

- Experience coordinating multiple Agile teams and managing cross-team dependencies

- Strong facilitation, conflict-resolution, communication, and stakeholder-management skills

- Experience with Agile ceremonies, backlog coordination, sprint planning, release planning, and delivery metrics

- Experience using Agile lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or equivalent

- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

- Federal IT modernization or financial-regulatory program experience

- Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification

- Experience supporting large-scale Agile, SAFe, DevSecOps, or cloud modernization programs

- Familiarity with AI-assisted meeting summarization, delivery reporting, risk analysis, or Agile analytics tools

Salary Description

$150,000-$160,000 (based on pertinent experience)
