Scrum Master
The Opportunity:As a scrum master, you're passionate about outcomes and supporting a development team that's modernizing and securing critical projects. You know the importance of Agile best practices and how to combat challenges early to get work done. We need an experienced scrum master like you to create solutions that'll implement time-sensitive technology solutions.
On our team, you'll coach a development team to their highest performance level, while ensuring the scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll ensure scrum principles and approaches are understood correctly by the team and key stakeholders. Using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Mural, you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish a successful and repeatable sprint cadence and deliver secure solutions that meet aggressive timelines.
In this role, you'll directly impact military missions by connecting modern security solutions with existing technology environments. This is an opportunity to grow your experience in scrum software development and operational delivery while successfully delivering project solutions that will improve national security.
You Have: - 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master serving Agile teams
- Experience using Agile software project management tools, including JIRA, Confluence, or Mural, to capture task delivery requirements
- Experience facilitating daily stand-up calls, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, road mapping, and requirements sessions
- Experience coordinating between technical delivery teams and customers to ensure development requirements are well understood
- Ability to work independently or with minimal direction while staying engaged in a team delivery environment
- Ability to work across a team for risk mitigation, using techniques to avoid, reduce, transfer, or accept risk
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Certified SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Agilist , or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Nice If You Have: - Experience collaborating with multiple teams for enterprise organizations, including customers and technical delivery teams
- Knowledge of project and program management practices
- Knowledge of budget tracking and management
- Ability to coach a team to better outcomes using process improvement
- DoD 8140 Certification

CompensationSalary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
