Job Summary

Scrum Master

Role Summary Aptive is seeking aLeanAgile Scrum Master to support the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA)ORISeffort, in direct support of Enterprise Health Records Management initiatives. In this position, you willbe responsible forprovidingLeanAgile program and project management support for both the overall program effort and individual, distinct, high visibility,high priorityVHAprojects,residingwithin theEIWMPTeam. You will coordinate day-to-day program activities, curate ongoing program activities to ensure program plans are up to date and capture evolving client needs, facilitate meetings with senior level stakeholders, and ensure the project team is delivering tasks on schedule and at the required level of quality prescribed by the VHA client.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide strong customer interaction skills, includingabilityto work with various senior level stakeholders across multiple tasks.
  • Proactive withdemonstratedsuccess managing multiple, concurrent tasks in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Manage project teams to create delivery schedules, ensure adherence to program / project delivery targets, curate program and project plans, generate status reports,facilitateprogram planning and status update sessions, and provide administrative and programmatic support whererequired.
  • Design and implement lean, responsive processes to support program planning and resource managementwithin the Jira application, guided byLeanAgile principles.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Track team capacity and support rapid reallocation during surge events
  • Coordinate dependencies across triage, workflow, training, and change-management workstreams
  • Support PI Planning and Inspect & Adapt workshops to align prioritization to government needs
  • Help protect team focus while meeting rapid-response demands
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor27s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Experience facilitating Agile teams in a delivery environment
Desired Qualifications
  • SAFe, Lean Portfolio, or Agile experience (SSM or equivalent)
  • Prior work on VA or healthcare IT programs, particularly Feder EHR or Oracle/Cerner
  • Strong servant-leadership and impediment-removal skills
