As a Scrum Master supporting Business Applications, you will partner with cross-functional teams to improve the flow of work and value delivery. Your primary focus will be coaching teams and stakeholders to continuously improve how they collaborate, plan, and deliver results. You will work closely with Product Owners, developers, architects, and leaders to strengthen agile ways of working, help teams remove obstacles, and foster a culture of learning and innovation. Success in this role comes from helping teams grow in effectiveness, ownership, and delivery capability.

What You Will Do
  • Coach teams in Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement to strengthen delivery outcomes.
  • Help teams develop effective ways of planning, collaborating, and inspecting and adapting their work.
  • Facilitate key Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, etc.) while encouraging increasing team ownership of these activities.
  • Guide teams in identifying improvement opportunities and experimenting with new ways of working.
  • Partner with Product Owners to strengthen backlog clarity, prioritization, and alignment with business outcomes.
  • Identify impediments to team progress and help address them at the team, program, or organizational level.
  • Encourage transparency and coach teams to use metrics and feedback to improve predictability and flow.
  • Foster strong collaboration among developers, Product Owners, architects, and stakeholders.
  • Support the broader organization in understanding and evolving Agile ways of working.


Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
  • Experience serving as a Scrum Master or coaching Agile teams.
  • Experience implementing Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Experience In leading/coaching teams in technical environments.
  • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.


Qualifications We Value
  • Ability to coach teams beyond process mechanics toward stronger ownership and self-organization.

  • Experience with Agile collaboration tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
  • Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) are helpful but not required.
  • Experience in software development, product management, or technical delivery contexts.

Remote: This position currently is designated as remote. Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The successful candidate for this role will be required to reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
