Full Job Description
What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Lead SCM project activities for Power Components Division Sites. Ensure activities are completed based on the required timeline while managing CAPEX, cost out and other goals. Work with other department process owners to complete projects and identify and prioritize opportunities to improve resiliency, productivity, cost, quality, and service. Manage and report project milestones, CAPEX utilization, risks and savings associated.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Lead PCD supply chain related projects from beginning to end, including defining potential suppliers, target costs and other key constraints, as well as managing RFQ's and supplier selection, tool and part qualification steps and initial deliveries.
2. Coordinate with other department process owners (Engineering, Production, Operations, Supplier Quality and Finance) as required to execute project activities.
3. Leverage standard processes and digital tools to conduct work in the most effective manner
4. Lead the identification and management of supplier risk action plans
5. Drives results related to key performance metrics that may include:
a. Achieving resiliency through dual sourcing, consignment and other means
b. Achieving sourcing savings and cost competitiveness goals
c. Minimizing Material Inflation Impact
6. Lead, facilitate or execute other SCM related projects for PCD as required
7. Ensure compliance to all purchasing policies and exhibit excellent Ethical behavior

2.1 - Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS)
1. Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator.
2. Complete all EHS training assigned.

Qualifications:

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
1. Professional degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing.
2. Minimun of 5 years of experience in similar positions
3. English Level: Proficient
4. Advanced PC skills (MS Office, MS Project, AS400 MS Outlook)
5. Preferred: Experience in controlling costs, materials warehouse, APICS, Eaton quality Systems (EQS), Enovia document control system and / or area of Manufacturing. Knowledge of MAPICS / Vista/Oracle.
6. Has Project Management functional knowledge expertise combined with a strong process, and system thinking mindset to consistently make quality operational decisions; when ambiguity may exist
7. Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
8. Negotiation skills
