Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on Scientist, Bioscience, to support later-stage radio conjugate programs through assay development, pre-clinical profiling of mechanisms-of-action, and in vitro drug-drug combination studies. This role is ideal for a strong laboratory scientist who thrives in a fast-paced research environment and enjoys working across disciplines to generate high-quality data that advances discovery and development programs. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, execution, analysis, and reporting of a broad range of cellular, molecular, and histological assays. Working closely with cross-functional colleagues in biology, in vivo pharmacology and radiochemistry, this individual will provide cross-program support to advance targeted radio therapy development. Accountabilities
  • Independently executes routine in vitro drug mechanism-of-action and cell viability experiments by applying techniques of cell and molecular biology (e.g. cell culture, flow cytometry, immunoblotting, immunofluorescence). Contributes to cell line model development (lentiviral transduction, CRISPR/Cas9), and mammalian tissue processing or analysis (e.g. immunohistochemistry, immunoblotting, RNA/DNA sequencing sample preparation).
  • Communicates the results to team members and is involved in the interpretation of data.
  • Supports a team and works collaboratively with project managers to ensure the efficient relay of information and forward translation of data.
  • Maintains a well-developed understanding of approaches to radio conjugate mechanism-of-action and development and applies a broader functional knowledge of the procedures used by diverse project groups to support the department where needed.
  • Assesses and reports data in a clear and concise manner, with a clear understanding of its implications within the overall context of drug discovery.
  • Provides technical instruction to the team and allocates administrative work where possible.
  • Shares relevant external published papers with peers.
