Job DescriptionJob Title: Scientist, Cell Culture Sciences, Biologics Drug Substance CommercializationLevel: R2Location: West Point (PA) (primary)Key Responsibilities:- Lab Operations (Primary Focus):
- Execute and support lab-scale mammalian cell culture runs, including bioreactor setup, operation, monitoring, sampling, and troubleshooting. Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient execution of lab activities.
- Technical Strategy: Support cell culture process development, process characterization and regulatory filing activities to ensure a smooth and clear path to successful PPQs and BLAs for the company's pipeline.
- Technical knowledge: Fundamental knowledge with mammalian cell culture processing of biologics (large molecule products).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams to achieve program goals as One Team.
- Problem Solving: Trouble shooting equipment and cell culture anomalies.
- Communication: Foster collaboration and ensure transparency. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Innovation: Support business improvement initiatives.
Education & Experience:- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biological Engineering, or comparable discipline with 2+ years of experience.
