Position Summary

ThisScientistpositionwithin theCell Therapy Enterprisegroupwill be involved in the characterization ofapheresisand/orproductmaterial from ongoing CAR- and TCR-based clinical trialsandprocess development.This individual willberesponsible fordesigning andperformingexperiments,organizingand analyzingresults, and communicatingand presentingfindingsto the immediate team and broader organization.Thisisaon-site, hands-onpositionbased in Santa Monica, CA.

This role requires at least 80% on-site presence in Santa Monica, as well as occasional availability on weekends, holidays, and evenings.

EssentialFunctions andResponsibilities

  • Executein vitro assays toevaluateT-cellphenotypeandfunction.

  • Provide support in writing and reviewing reports and/or data verification during regulatory filingsand/or amendments.

  • Analyzes, organizes, and communicatesresults at different research and cross-functional meetings.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • A strong background in cancer immunotherapy and human immunology 6 experience in working with engineered T cellsand/or clinical trial samplesis strongly preferred.

  • Proficient in cell culture aseptic techniques.

  • Hands-onexpertisein T-cell functional characterization assays tomeasure invitro cytotoxicity, proliferation, and cytokine/chemokines.

  • Proficient in multi-parameter flow cytometry (panel design, sample acquisition, data processing).

  • Proficientin the analysis and understanding of immune cells andfunctions.

  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal,and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.

  • Self-motivated and willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside ofinitialjob description.

Education andExperience

  • Master 2(+ 0-2yearslab experience),or Bachelor 2(+ 3-5years lab experience)degreein immunology, cellular and/or tumor biology. Lab experience related toT-cell biologyand/or working with clinical trial samplesis highly desirable.

  • Industry experienceispreferred.

  • Well-versed in cell culture aseptic techniques, multi-color flow cytometry (9+ colors),MSD,and other cellular assays.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, record keeping, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary in this collaborative work environment.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced company environment and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from$90,960.80to$136,441.20. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility toparticipatein our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
