In support of Program Manager Tactical Communications & Electromagnetic Warfare Systems (PM TCE), we are seeking a Science & Technology (S&T) Analyst.

Responsibilities:

General requirements are as follows:
  • Provide integration, interoperability and S&T recommendations to address United States Marine Corps requirements and gaps in capabilities.
  • Provide analytical support in any of the following disciplines: engineering, science, business, financial, cost, or program management, to include analysis, design, development, testing, integration, logistics, program management, cost, financial, or management analysis, or maintenance of systems, processes, programs, offices or products.
  • Develop and/or review acquisition documentation, program reports, papers, drawings, specifications, and procedures.

Specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Support S&T and Integration efforts through analysis and evaluation of current capabilities, operational readiness, and operational needs.
  • Use appropriate techniques, processes, procedures, and management tools to design and develop strategic operation plans and S&T Roadmaps, outputs of which are not limited to Business Processes and Workflows, Business Cases Knowledge Management processes and tools, and Capabilities Based Portfolio Analysis.
  • Deliver a high- level summary of capabilities, and identify the risks and shortfalls associated with the strategic and technology insertions into existing programs.
  • Assist with development and updates to strategic documents.
  • Perform appropriate tasks, functions, and analysis in support of objective team execution and any program review preparation and execution.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 Years of Experience

Specific/Preferred Requirements:
  • Secret Clearance required.
  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) and Marine Corps policies related to acquisition analysis and planning and management support, not limited to DoD Instruction 5000.02, Adaptive Acquisition Framework and the Marine Corps Systems Command Acquisition Guidebook.
  • Familiarity with Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAP), Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs, Middle Tier Acquisitions (MTA) and Other Transaction Authority (OTA).
  • Experience in research related to gap assessment, technology insertion, and modernization.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office.

Physical Demands:

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

This position is performed in a typical indoor office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level.
