Overview

HealthPRO Pediatrics is looking for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Dallas, TX.

  • School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Dallas, TX | In-person/on-site | Covering 3 schools in the area
  • Full-Time or Part-Time opportunities available
  • Compensation starts at $50/hour!
Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and provide speech therapy services to students with speech and language disorders.
  • Conduct speech and language assessments, write FIE reports, and communicate the results at IEP meetings
  • Consult with various stakeholders in different settings
  • Diagnose and provide direct and indirect speech therapy services
  • Regularly report progress to parents per ARD committee determination
  • Provide professional development with different stakeholders
  • Maintain appropriate documentation as determined by the speech program
  • Conduct, attend, and participate in ARD/IEP committee meetings and provide goals and objectives for students needing speech and language services
  • Attend MTSS/SST meetings for students referred for speech and language concerns
  • Keep abreast of current trends in the practice of speech pathology, develop professional skills, and ensure federal/state regulations
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
