Ampersand Therapy is hiring School Psychologists for full-time school-based opportunities in the Redmond, Washington area for the 2026-2027 school year.

Join a collaborative team of educators and specialists dedicated to helping students reach their full potential in supportive and inclusive school environments.

Position Highlights
  • Location: Redmond, WA
  • Position: School Psychologist
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
  • Setting: In-person, school-based
  • School Year: 2026-2027
  • Grade Levels: Preschool through High School (varies by assignment)


Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education services
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare clear, timely evaluation reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success
  • Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and mental health concerns
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and positive behavioral supports
  • Support crisis intervention and problem-solving efforts as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal, state, and district regulations


Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Washington State ESA School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to obtain prior to the start of employment
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and report writing skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • School-based experience preferred, but qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply
