Job Description:Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for a potential full-time coverage position beginning in late September 2026 in the Bothell area of Washington. - Exact assignment dates, school sites, grade levels, and caseload details are still being finalized
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations
- Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
- Prepare clear and thorough evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility, evaluation, and Individualized Education Program meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
- Assist school teams with students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Support the development and implementation of appropriate interventions
- Provide consultation regarding special education eligibility, programming, and student supports
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state, federal, and district requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-based planning
Qualifications:- Master's or educational specialist degree in School Psychology
- Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate certificate with a School Psychologist endorsement
- Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete
- Must provide at least two supervisory references
- Knowledge of special education laws, evaluation procedures, and eligibility requirements
- Strong assessment, report-writing, communication, and collaboration skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred
