About the Role
Hello, School Psychologists! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Psychologist for a school setting in Covington, GA. In this role, you'll play a critical part in student success by leading evaluations, supporting student wellness, and driving collaborative, student-centered solutions. This is a great fit for both experienced school-based psychologists and those transitioning into schools.
What You'll Do
- Support student identification (MTSS, 504, Special Education)
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments
- Write and present clear evaluation reports
- Collaborate on interventions and student support plans
- Provide mental health and behavioral support
- Promote positive school-wide outcomes
- Consult with staff on evidence-based practices
- Partner with families and school teams
- Provide training/support to educators as needed
What We're Looking For
- Hold a Specialist's Degree or higher in School Psychology
- Active or eligible Georgia state certification
- School-based experience preferred, not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
