About the Role

Hello, School Counselors! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Counselor for a K-12 school setting in Windsor, CO. In this role, you'll support students' social-emotional, behavioral, and academic success while collaborating closely with educators, families, and school teams. We welcome both experienced school counselors and professionals transitioning into the school setting.

What You'll Do
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students
  • Support students with social-emotional learning, behavior, and mental health needs
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist with crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
  • Participate in student support team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions
  • Develop and implement interventions to improve student success and well-being
  • Assist students with conflict resolution, self-advocacy, and coping skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
  • Help foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate

What We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in School Counseling, Counseling, or a related field
  • Valid Colorado CDE School Counselor License (or ability to obtain by start date)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Passion for supporting student growth and success
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required


Benefits apply to 0.8 FTE and above after a short waiting period.
