Working Location:San Jose: South San Jose Center (In-person position)
Working Hours/Shift:FT, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
** This position offers an additional 16% bilingual differential for Spanish speaking Clinicians **What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):Education- Master's Degree in a mental health field
- Will Consider: Awaiting BBS registration number - 90 days after date of hire
Experience- MHSII - One (1) year of experience in a mental health field; experience should be preferred with individuals in residential or outpatient settings.
- MHSIII - Two (2) years of experience in a mental health field; experience should be preferred with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings.
License or Certification- MHSII - Current BBS registration as an Associate (AMFT, ASW, APCC) OR awaiting BBS registration number
- MHSIII - LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license in California
- Valid California Driver's License.
NOTE: Must possess a valid California Driver's License and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy. How you will make a difference (job overview):This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to individuals and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff. In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.
Division/Program Overview: - Programs: Youth consented program
- Population Served: Works with clients ages 5-18 years old.
- Facility & Setting: Mainly school-based services; home, community and telehealth.
- Clinical Services: Individual, family, and group therapy as well as a wide variety of mental health issues addressed.
- Skills & Services: Works with different school districts --from Evergreen School District & East Side Union High School District.
