Full Job Description
Physical Therapist Assistant to work alongside a collaborative school team and help K-12 students build greater mobility, confidence, and independence throughout the school year in Norwalk, CT.

Position Overview
  • Provide physical therapy support to K-12 students under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Assist with implementing individualized therapy plans and exercises designed to improve students' mobility, strength, balance, and functional skills.
  • Collaborate with physical therapists, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and participation in the school environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress while following applicable professional and school-based standards.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program
  • Valid Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
  • School-based experience preferred; strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with K-12 students
