The Arc Erie County New York is looking for an experienced special education leader to serve as School Principal of our School Age Program.

This is more than managing day-to-day school operations. You'll set the tone for the building, support a multidisciplinary team, strengthen educational programming, and help ensure students with developmental disabilities receive the individualized services they need to thrive.

YOUR LEADERSHIP WILL INCLUDE:

PEOPLE
Lead and develop Assistant Principals, special education teachers, teacher assistants and support staff while building a strong, professional school culture.

PROGRAMS
Oversee educational programming, student services, classroom operations and professional development.

STUDENTS & FAMILIES
Help ensure high-quality, individualized educational and therapeutic services while maintaining strong relationships with families and school districts.

OPERATIONS
Provide oversight of staffing, budgeting, safety, regulatory compliance and overall school operations.

PARTNERSHIPS
Collaborate with agency leadership, clinical teams, school districts and community partners to strengthen services and opportunities for students.

THE EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Master's degree in special education
• 6 years of educational experience working with children with developmental disabilities
• 5 years of supervisory experience
• At least 2 years as an Assistant/Vice Principal or Principal
• NYS Permanent or Professional Teaching Certification
• NYS SAS, SDA, SBL or SDL certification
• Knowledge of CPSE/CSE operations and special education regulations

$90,000-$110,000 ANNUALLY

Based on education, certification and experience
