Reporting to Project Controls Manager, Schedule lead, will be supporting Green Line business unit with scheduling and analysis activities, including overseeing and coordinating the work of scheduling professionals, developing and managing integrated schedules, making recommendations related to scheduling, reporting, monitoring and analysis, in support of execution of the current phase of Green Line Program, primary duties include:
- Lead the Green Line Scheduling team and provide direction across all scheduling activities.
- Support the Project Controls Manager in establishing and maintain a formal process for schedule development, monitoring and control.
- Support Project Controls Manager in developing a schedule baseline in line with the work breakdown stature (WBS).
- Lead development and governance of the integrated master schedule, incorporating all contractor and consultant schedules as well as owner deliverables with a focus on data integrity, accuracy, and alignment with overall project milestones.
- Document and communicate baseline assumptions, and basis.
- Proactively identify and effectively communicate cross-discipline/scope/party interdependencies. Raise concerns or conflicts for resolution with the impacted parties.
- Collaborate with internal project teams and project managers to exchange critical data, including progress reports, Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Cost Performance Index (CPI), schedule updates, and schedule risks.
- Provide accurate and timely schedule analysis, critical path evaluation, and forecasting to support informed decision-making by project leadership.
- Identify schedule issues, participate in the issue management process, and implement mitigation measures.
- Lead planning and scheduling activities across all project phases.
- Solicit, receive and evaluate scheduling and precedence information for consultants and contractors for incorporation into overall schedule.
- Develop and continually improve related enterprise processes, systems and tools based on project needs and industry best practice.
- Automate and streamline reporting using tools such as Power BI, and custom dashboards for real-time insights.
Qualifications - Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Project Controls, Scheduling, Cost Control, or Estimating, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience leading project controls or scheduling functions on large, complex, high-profile, multi-partner EPC projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint are also required.
- Experience developing and implementing progress measurement systems (SPI & CPI) is required.
- Proven track record of developing and managing integrated project schedules for major capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of PMI and AACE recommended practices and standards for project controls.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
- Experience on large-scale transit or infrastructure mega-projects is preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) and AACE certifications (e.g.,CCP, PSP) are assets.
- Additional certifications such as PgMP, CAPM, PMI-SP are considered strong assets.
- Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization/reporting tools and experience with TILOS or linear scheduling tools are desired.
- Experience with risk analysis software (e.g., Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, etc.) and exposure to cost control, budgeting, cash flow management, and resource planning will also be considered assets.

- Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week.
- Days of work: This position works a 5-day work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
