This Opportunity

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Scheduler to join our Project Controls team out of our New York City, One Penn office location. This position will be reporting to the MTA construction office along the A/C Line and the MTA 2 Broadway office 4 days per week (hybrid).

Your Impact

Job Duties:
  • Develop resource-loaded and cost loaded CPM schedules in Primavera P6 aligned with the project's WBS, contract requirements, and execution strategy.
  • Establish logic-driven schedules with appropriate activity sequencing, activity durations, and calendar assignment.
  • Ensure schedules comply with contract specifications, owner requirements, and scheduling standards and best practices.
  • Review and analyze detail design and construction execution schedules for major programs, including analysis of critical path, logic, resources, costs, cost curves, and/or resource histograms.
  • Review and integrate contractor schedules into the program master schedule.
  • Review contractor schedules for progress and performance.
  • Organize, support, and/or lead monthly schedule review meetings with project team.
  • Chair schedule update calls with different discipline leads.
  • Develop and update project progress monthly.
  • Develop Earned Value (EV) analysis reports.
  • Schedule Change Management.
  • Perform time impact analyses (TIA) to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays and provide recommendations for schedule recovery.
  • Assess and provide recommendations to resolve scope changes or delays to the Project Team


Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in construction scheduling
  • Experience supporting large projects or programs
  • Experience working with Primavera P6
  • Project financial forecasting skills.
  • Change Order and Extension of Time analysis.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within large and challenging client programs with one or more project teams.
  • Effective reporting and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing project reports and documentation.
  • Construction and/or project management experience
  • Team player and Strong communication skills

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $120,000 to $155,000

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
