Full Job Description
Scheduler Manager Responsibilities: • Lead and oversee the scheduling function across all projects • Establish, implement, and enforce scheduling standards, procedures, and best practices • Review and approve project schedules, updates, forecasts, and reporting for accuracy and consistency • Ensure schedules align with actual construction sequencing, field execution, and project realities • Coach, mentor, and develop schedulers to improve technical capabilities, field awareness, and overall performance • Provide guidance on risk mitigation, delay analysis, recovery planning, and corrective actions • Monitor scheduler workload and allocate resources to ensure proper project support across the organization • Analyze overall schedule performance and provide insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership • Support preconstruction efforts with high-level scheduling strategies, manpower planning, and sequencing input • Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes, systems, reporting, and accountability measures • Establish checks and balances, including recurring action items and review processes for schedulers • Assist with schedule development and troubleshooting when necessary, while maintaining focus on leadership and oversight responsibilities • Build strong relationships with team members through active leadership, collaboration, and support • Review and filter deliverables prior to Issue for Approval (IFA) to ensure quality and consistency • Occasional jobsite visits may be required. • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
