Job DescriptionSupport and improve SAP warehouse, shipping, and order-to-delivery processes. The role is
mainly focused on day-to-day support, with participation in projects when needed. Works closely with the Business Process Center (BPC), business users, and IT teams.
Responsibilities: DAY-TO-DAY (main focus)
- Resolve SAP support tickets for warehouse management (WM), shipping and deliveries (LE), and sales order processes (SD): incidents, change requests, and user questions
- Find the root cause of issues and fix them, or escalate to the right team (developers, integration team, or vendors)
- Troubleshoot issues between SAP and connected systems: external WMS, TMS, mobile scanning apps, and label printing connected to SAP
- Document every resolution in the helpdesk tool
- Keep warehouse and shipping operations running with minimal disruption
CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENTS
- Review change requests from the business and assess their impact
- Configure SAP WM, SD, and LE hands-on
- Write functional specifications for developers when custom work is needed
- Test changes (unit, integration, and regression testing) and support user acceptance testing
- Follow SOX and Segregation of Duties change control rules (approvals, documentation, audit trail)
- Update process documentation and train end users
PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS
- Work with the BPC team and process owners to find ways to simplify, improve or automate warehouse and shipping processes
- Propose solutions aligned with company standards and SAP best practices
PROJECTS (as needed)
- Participate as a functional consultant in SAP projects: requirements, design, configuration, testing, training, cutover, and go-live support
- Hand over new solutions to the support team after go-live
Qualifications- 10+ years as an SAP WM and SD/LE functional consultant
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC
- Both support (tickets) and project experience
- Experience connecting SAP with other warehouses or transport systems
- Manufacturing or distribution background
Nice-to-have: - S/4HANA or EWM
- mobile scanning apps and label printing connected to SAP
Additional Information- Hybrid position: 3 days per week onsite
