Job SummarySyntax is seeking an experienced SAP SD professional to support client transformation initiatives, solution design, and delivery excellence across complex SAP environments. This role is well suited for a customer-focused consultant who brings strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate business needs into innovative SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will contribute to pre-sales efforts, guide technical and functional design, and help advance Syntax's delivery capabilities in both SAP Public Cloud and Private Cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- Support pre-sales activities, including RFP responses, client discovery sessions, demo preparation, and demo delivery.
- Assist the SD competency lead with quality assurance checks on SAP SD implementations.
- Collaborate with the SD competency lead to improve Syntax's SD intellectual property, solution assets, and delivery capabilities.
- Lead the design of complex SAP SD enhancements and extensions to standard SAP functionality.
- Provide functional and architectural guidance to teams designing advanced SD solutions, including mobile solutions and business intelligence integrations.
- Work with the Syntax GenAI team to develop innovative SAP AI solutions for internal and external use cases.
- Execute solution delivery across both SAP Public Cloud and Private Cloud environments.
- Partner closely with customers to support transformational change and maximize business value.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high-quality delivery.
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of SAP experience.
- Minimum of 5 full life cycle SAP implementations.
- Strong experience with SAP SD, including complex enhancements and solution design.
- Experience with third-party ordering.
- Experience with pricing interfaces.
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in the US and Canada.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and build innovative solutions.
- Proven success working directly with customers in a consultative, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with international trade processes.
- Experience with Intra-stat reporting or related capabilities.
- Experience supporting SAP Public Cloud and Private Cloud solutions.
- Exposure to mobile solutions, business intelligence, or related integrated solution areas.
- Experience contributing to pre-sales pursuits and client-facing solution workshops.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions or automation in SAP environments.
- An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.
- Proficiency in English is necessary for client-facing implementation activities across multiple regions.
Education & Certifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- SAP certifications in SD or related SAP modules are an asset.
- Additional SAP certifications, cloud certifications, or relevant professional training are considered a plus.
