Role Overview:This role is for an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of solutions within the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module. The consultant will engage with business users to gather requirements, provide detailed designs, and ensure successful project delivery, including integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and configure the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
- Utilize SAP SD user exits for sales order, delivery, and billing processes.
- Perform SAP configurations within the SD area.
- Write functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom programs and interfaces.
- Collaborate with business users across regions to define scope and gather requirements.
- Provide conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs.
- Implement proposed solutions within defined resources, budget, and timelines.
- Conduct testing and rollout of final products.
- Analyze new business strategies and recommend automated solutions.
- Present designs and system developments to business audiences (10-20 people).
- Work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:- At least 5 years of experience with SAP projects.
- Specialization in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module design and configuration.
- Experience with SAP SD user exits for sales order, delivery, and billing.
- Good knowledge of SD pricing.
- Understanding of SD account assignment and revenue recognition processes.
- Ability to debug ABAP.
- Experience with intercompany postings and pro forma invoices.
- Knowledge of SAP iDocs for order induction.
- Proficiency in integration with other SAP modules.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- SAP ERP Sales and Distribution (SD).
Qualifications:- 10+ years of overall experience required.
Preferred Skills:- Experience in S4 HANA.
- Project management experience for SAP projects involving integration with external systems and business partners (prior experience with Apple PLC preferred).
- SAP SM Experience.
