SAP Payroll Lead with deep expertise in
SAP US Payroll, Tax Configuration, Time Management, and Payroll Processing. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience leading payroll implementations, supporting payroll operations, and working directly with business stakeholders and clients.
This role requires a consultant who can manage payroll configuration, tax compliance, benefits integration, payroll posting, year-end activities, and production support while serving as a trusted advisor to the client.
Key Responsibilities: SAP Payroll Configuration & Processing - Configure and support SAP US Payroll processes
- Design and maintain payroll schemas and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs)
- Configure wage types, payment models, and taxability rules
- Manage direct deposit and payroll check configurations
- Configure and support remuneration statements
- Support payroll posting to Finance
Tax & Compliance
- Configure and maintain BSI Tax Factory
- pply and test tax bulletin updates
- Perform year-end payroll testing and validation
- pply SAP legal notes and HR service packs
- Ensure compliance with US payroll tax regulations
Time Management - Configure and support Positive Time Management
- Configure and support Negative Time Management
- Support Time Evaluation processes
- Maintain and update time schemas and rules
Benefits & Integrations - Configure benefits and payroll integration
- Support third-party vendor integrations and interfaces
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors
Production Support - Troubleshoot payroll and time management issues
- Perform root cause analysis and issue resolution
- Support configuration, development, data, and process-related defects
- Provide ongoing production support and enhancements

Required Experience: - 10+ years of SAP HCM/Payroll experience
- Deep expertise in US Payroll and Taxation
- Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP US Payroll implementations
- Strong client-facing consulting experience
- Experience with payroll production support and issue resolution
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications: - Media & Entertainment industry experience
- SAP HCM Payroll Certification
- Experience supporting large enterprise payroll environments
