Reporting to the Material Management Platform Product Leader, this role will be instrumental in advancing integration strategy & delivery and Operational excellence, taking full accountability for managing resources, budgets, schedules, and risks. This pivotal role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to align integration architecture and service management practices with business stakeholder needs, guiding delivery from design through steady-state operations. The Director will oversee multiple workstreams spanning integration platforms, service operations, and vendor ecosystems by understanding requirements, managing complex interdependencies, and working closely with business partners and technology partners. In this leadership position, you will define goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes for the team, ensuring successful execution and alignment with the organization's strategic vision.

Responsibilities

The Director will be responsible for partnering with functional leaders and overseeing the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of enterprise integration platforms and IT service management processes to ensure they effectively support business operations and objectives.

Transformation Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation framework and roadmap aligned with organizational modernization goals, adaptable across strategy, implementation, and operational phases.
  • Benchmark and adopt industry best practices across architecture, integration, delivery, and service management to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable outcomes.
  • Assess the current phase of a program's modernization journey and calibrate governance, resourcing, and delivery approach accordingly.

Program & Delivery Leadership:
  • Assess & Design Phase: Lead current-state assessments, define future-state architecture, and build business cases and roadmaps for modernization initiatives.
  • Build & Implement Phase: Work with functional leaders to drive execution of a portfolio of projects through effective prioritization, planning, vendor management, and oversight - including systems integration, platform migration, and rollout strategy.
  • Operate & Optimize Phase: Establish and mature service management practices (incident, problem, change, and release management) to drive operational excellence, define SLAs/KPIs, and drive continuous improvement and automation.
  • Manage and monitor internal teams and technology partner teams to deliver program commitments across whichever phase(s) are active.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
  • Prioritize initiatives with business partners, articulating business impact and delivering fitting solutions on time and within budget.
  • Manage relationships with system integrators, technology vendors, and offshore delivery partners, rationalizing work and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
  • Provide leadership in program planning and deployment, budget management, vendor and partner management, risk management, and enterprise integration/service management transformation execution.
  • Create and negotiate statements of work, plan milestones, and manage financial reporting. Fluent in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Lead multiple teams to successfully deliver contracted and internal work through constant and clear communication, strong leadership, and development of relationships amongst team members, business partners, and all stakeholders.

    • Develop and mentor a high-performing team through well-defined delivery, incident response, and risk management processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives to reduce operational risk and manual effort.

Team Management and Development:
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team through well-defined delivery, incident response, and risk management processes.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 18+ years of overall IT experience with expertise in driving end to end SAP S/4 HANA transformation
  • Strong understanding of SAP functional modules and technical components within Planning, Production Scheduling and Manufacturing domain.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience leading enterprise integration initiatives (API, middleware, EDI) in large, global, complex organizations, with a focus on driving platform-enabled transformation.
  • Minimum 8+ years managing direct reports and supervisory experience.
  • SAP Activate or Safe Agile certification preferred.
  • Experience working with offshore project development, rationalizing development work, and leading execution.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite of tools; working experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and integration/middleware platforms.
  • ITIL certification (or equivalent knowledge of ITIL framework) strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem solver. Strong communicator. Highly collaborative.
  • Must be detail oriented, self-directed, and have strong independent problem-solving skills.

This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $141,700-$268,300.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
