SAP Manager

Siemens is looking for a SAP Systems Manager for a new factory in Fort Worth. The SAP Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the digital backbone of the manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless integration and performance of business-critical systems such as SAP and MES. This role bridges the gap between IT and operations, driving efficiency, data integrity, and continuous improvement across plant processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and leading system best practices and aligning software functionality with operational processes to drive productivity and efficiency gains within our manufacturing processes. This person will have 2-3 direct reports.
You will make an impact by
  • Collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing teams to align system requirements with manufacturing process.
  • Collaborate with technology partners by testing software updates and modifications, testing software integrations and supporting software deployments.
  • Monitor system performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor system integrations, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize impact to productivity, cost, or quality.
  • Provide technical support to users on MES and SAP applications.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve complex issues when necessary.
  • Document processes, configurations, and system changes to ensure no disruption to production systems.
  • Analyze system performance metrics to propose improvements or upgrades.
  • Lead the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of SAP modules, including PP, MM, WM, QM, to support manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure accurate data flow between SAP and other systems, including MES and LIMS.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience with the following:
    • SAP management in a manufacturing environment with system administrator and super user experience in multiple modules.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems.
    • Leading cross-functional work streams.
    • System integration and data migration projects, including managing database systems and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
    • Leading significant portions of large-scale projects / greenfield projects.
    • Managing project budgets, forecasts, financial controls, and project costs.
    • At least one software development tool and one scripting tool.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience involving switchgear, switchboards, circuit breakers, and/or power distribution equipment.
  • People leadership experience.
  • PMP or formal project management certification.
  • Advanced degree in related field.

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
