Role Overview:This role is for an SAP IS Retail Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP IS Retail processes. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing retail business processes, translating them into SAP solutions, and configuring various SAP IS Retail modules. The position requires experience with master data management, pricing, procurement, and integration with other SAP modules within a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze retail business processes and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Configure SAP IS Retail modules, including Merchandise Management (MM), Pricing & Promotions, and Assortment Planning.
- Work with critical integration points such as SAP MM, SD, and FICO.
- Provide support for POS (Point of Sale) systems integration.
- Handle master data management for articles, sites, and assortments.
- Perform comprehensive testing, including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Offer production support and resolve system-related issues.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver tailored SAP solutions.
Required Skills: - Strong knowledge of SAP IS Retail processes.
- Experience with Article Master Data, Listing & Assortments, Pricing procedures, and Retail procurement.
- Knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales & Distribution).
- Familiarity with integration points, including FICO.
- Understanding of retail business, including store operations, inventory management, and supply chain.
Qualifications: - 6-8 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills: - Basic ABAP debugging knowledge.
