About the roleAs a SAP Functional Consultant - OpenText InfoArchive Support, you will make an impact by supporting and maintaining the enterprise OpenText InfoArchive platform that serves as the repository for archived SAP data following our SAP decommissioning initiative, ensuring archived data remains stable, secure, and accessible for audit, legal, finance, compliance, and other business functions. You will be a valued member of the OpenText InfoArchive support team and work collaboratively with business users, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and the OpenText support team.
In this role, you will- Provide day-to-day application support for the OpenText InfoArchive platform, monitoring application health and proactively identifying potential issues.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs, and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues to recommend preventive measures.
- Work with business users to understand and fulfill historical SAP data requests, troubleshooting data retrieval issues and performing SQL-based analysis where required.
- Coordinate with OpenText support and collaborate with infrastructure, database, and vendor teams on product issues, patches, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities to ensure application stability.
- Support enhancements and change requests, validate archived SAP data for completeness and accuracy, manage user access requests, and maintain support documentation and operational reporting for stakeholders.

What you need to have to be considered- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and strong understanding of SAP business processes and historical data management.
- Experience with OpenText Info Archive and SAP data management in an enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL preferred), including SQL-based analysis and troubleshooting of data retrieval issues.
- Experience providing L2/L3 application support in a production environment, including incident and service request resolution.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.
These will help you stand out- High-level knowledge of SAP tables across FI, Procurement, SD, and Warehouse verticals.
- Experience with data governance practices for archived enterprise data.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident and service request management.
- Strong documentation and knowledge management skills.
- Proven business stakeholder management across functions such as Legal, Audit, Compliance, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Security.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $83,250- $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
