The SAP Finance Controlling Manager will support a live SAP S/4HANA aerospace and defense program operating within a classified environment. The consultant will provide ongoing functional expertise across FI/CO processes while also contributing to requirements, solution design, build, testing, and deployment for future program increments.
This role serves as a functional SME partnering closely with business users, production operations, and testing teams to ensure successful delivery across the program lifecycle. Candidates must bring strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA FI/CO experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and comfort working within a secure, mission-critical environment.
Key responsibilities:- Serve as the S/4HANA FI/CO functional SME supporting business users and operations in the classified environment
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment activities, production support, and defect resolution
- Support requirements, solution design, build, testing, and release activities for future program increments
- Develop and deliver user guides, training materials, and end-user support
- Plan and coordinate accounting-related deployment and cutover activities
Here's what you need:- 4+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA FI/CO expertise
- Experience with SAP Controlling (Project Systems), Labor Costing and/or Material Costing, and Period-end Accounting Close and FI-GL/AP
- At least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation project
Nice to have:- Experience with SAP PMMO/GPD or FAR actual cost tracking
- Aerospace and Defense industry experience
- Experience supporting classified environments
- Experience supporting project-based manufacturing or defense programs
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs
