Position SummaryWe are seeking an SAP Finance Analyst with approximately 5+ years of experience supporting finance systems in an SAP environment. This role will partner with Finance and IT teams to support day-to-day operations, system enhancements, reporting, and process improvements. The ideal candidate understands finance processes, has experience working within SAP, and enjoys working directly with business users to solve problems.
Responsibilities- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to support business processes and system improvements.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Support SAP Finance-related enhancements, configurations, testing, and production issues.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities from a systems perspective.
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validate system changes.
- Troubleshoot application issues and work with technical teams to resolve them.
- Create and maintain functional documentation and process documentation.
- Support reporting, data validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, and third-party vendors.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system efficiency.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Approximately 5+ years of experience supporting SAP Finance applications.
- Experience working with SAP Finance (FI) and familiarity with modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Asset Accounting.
- Understanding of accounting and financial business processes.
- Experience gathering business requirements and supporting system enhancements.
- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Familiarity with SAP FICO concepts.
- Experience supporting financial reporting and month-end close.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies.
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori or reporting tools is a plus.
