Role Overview:This role is for an SAP EWM Support Engineer to provide critical Level 1 onsite support for warehouse operations in a 16x7 rotating shift model. The individual will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues related to SAP EWM, monitoring system interfaces, and supporting warehouse automation technologies within a pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide onsite SAP EWM Level 1 support in a 16x7 rotating shift model (Morning/Evening).
- Support warehouse operations including Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Movements, and Production Supply processes.
- Perform initial diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of SAP EWM production issues.
- Monitor and support interfaces between SAP EWM and other warehouse systems.
- Provide hands-on support to business users and warehouse floor operations.
- Manage incidents, track issue resolution, and coordinate escalations as required.
- Monitor system performance and integration health.
- Maintain SOPs, support documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Coordinate with customer, vendor, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
- Communicate status updates and resolutions to stakeholders.
Required Skills:- 4+ years of experience in SAP EWM Support.
- Strong understanding of warehouse business processes including Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Inventory Management.
- Experience providing application support in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
- Experience in providing support to warehouse automation technologies such as ASRS, AutoStore, AGV, Pick-to-Light, and WCS/MFS.
- Knowledge of RF devices, barcode scanning, and warehouse floor support.
- Experience in troubleshooting SAP EWM interfaces and integration issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in customer-facing support organizations.
- Experience in pharmaceutical warehouse operations.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Warehouse Control System integrations.
- Familiarity with Exacta WES, WorldLink, and related warehouse applications.
- Understanding of network troubleshooting and printer support in warehouse environments.
Qualifications:- 6-8 years of overall experience.
- 4+ years of experience specifically in SAP EWM Support.
Preferred Skills:- Expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
