Tenant Administration:Serve as the primary administrator for the SAPDataspheretenant, managing spaces, storage allocations, and user access/security profiles.
Data Object Store Management:Design, configure, and maintain the underlying Data Object Store, Open SQL Schemas, and integration with cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3, Azure ADLS, or SAP HANA Cloud).
Data Integration:Establish and maintain secure connections to diverse source systems (SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, non-SAP databases, and APIs) using DP Agent, Cloud Connector, and remote tables.
Performance Monitoring:Implement and track KPIs for system performance, data replication speeds, and query execution times.
Alerting Frameworks:Set up, configure, and manage proactive alerting mechanisms withinDatasphereand SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to capture data load failures or system bottlenecks.
Usage & Cost Tracking:Monitor compute and storage consumption metrics to optimize resource allocation, manage licensing boundaries, and predict future capacity needs.
Semantic Modeling:Build, optimize, and maintain complex Analytical Datasets, Perspectives, and Business Entities within the Business Builder and Data Builder layers.
Data Flow & Transformation:Develop efficient graphical and SQL-based data flows to clean, transform, and consolidate enterprise data.
Business Enablement:Ensure the semantic layer provides a clean, intuitive, and high-performing 4;single source of truth4; for business users utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or third-party BI tools.
Experience:Minimum of 3 65 years of hands-on experience specifically withSAPDatasphere(formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud) andSAP HANA Cloud.
SAP Ecosystem:Strong background in SAP data structures (S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, or SAP ECC) and understanding of SAP CDS views.
Data Modeling & SQL:Advanced proficiency in SQL, script-based modeling, and conceptual/logical/physical data modeling.
Monitoring Tools:Experience utilizing SAPDatasphere9;s built-in monitoring dashboards, Local Table monitors, and integrating with external monitoring logs if required.
Cloud Architecture:Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts, data lakes, and security protocols (OIDC, SAML, OAuth).
SAP Certified Application Associate - SAPDataspherecertification.
Experience tying SAPDataspheresemantic models directly into Power BIdashboards.
Familiarity with BW Bridge concepts for migrating legacy BW artifacts.

The Physical Side of the Role: Given that a good portion of your day will be spent at a desk, you should be comfortable with prolonged periods of focused work, whether it9;s collaborating with colleagues, analyzing data, or developing strategies. The role demands effective communication and sharp visual acuity for reviewing complex documents and performing detailed computer work. While there are times for quiet concentration, you9ll also be expected to move actively throughout the office and travel occasionally to various locations, including dynamic construction sites, utilizing different modes of transportation. The ability to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 25 pounds on occasion (think a box of files or small office equipment), is also required.
Your Work Environment: Your primary workspace will be in our professional office, which has a typical, quiet-to-moderate noise and light levels. As part of your work, you may also be required to visit active construction sites. These environments are naturally more dynamic and can include exposure to outdoor weather conditions, louder noise, and moving equipment. Clark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan. Additional benefits include life insurance, commuter benefit, short & long term disability, fitness reimbursement, FSA, tuition reimbursement, back-up daycare, tutoring & family support benefits, EAP/Work-Life assistance, and a holiday contribution program. For this role the base salary range is $100,000-$200,000. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate9s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
