SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

The Role

UST is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in ABAP development, SAP S/4HANA, RAP framework, SAP integrations, and OData services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications and integrations while adhering to SAP best practices.

What You'll Do
• SAP ABAP Development
• Design, develop, and support SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects.
• Develop and enhance Reports, Classes, Interfaces, Function Modules, Enhancements, Conversions, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW objects).
• SAP S/4HANA Development
• Develop data models using CDS Views and CDS Annotations.
• Implement HANA-optimized ABAP solutions using AMDP.
• Utilize Eclipse ADT for development activities.
• Managed and Unmanaged RAP Applications
• Behavior Definitions and Implementations
• Service Definitions and Service Bindings
• OData V4 Services
• OData V2 and OData V4 Services
• REST APIs
• RFC/BAPI Interfaces
• Kafka-Based Integrations
• MFT and SFTP File Transfers
• Process JSON and XML payloads.
• Monitor and support SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF).
• Perform SAP Gateway administration and support using:
• /IWFND/*
• /IWBEP/*
• Manage IWSG and IWSV service concepts.
• Configure SICF services and troubleshoot service activation issues.
• Resolve authorization and connectivity issues related to OData services.
• Development Tools & DevOps Work with:
• Eclipse ADT
• SAP Web IDE
• VS Code ABAP Development Tools

What You Need
• 8-10 Years of experience
• Strong ABAP development experience.
• Hands-on CDS Views and OData development.
• Basic to intermediate RAP development.
• Integration experience with REST APIs and SAP Gateway.
• Advanced S/4HANA and RAP expertise.
• HANA optimization using AMDP.
• Experience in SAP AIF, Kafka, and enterprise integrations.
• Technical design, architecture, and mentoring responsibilities.
• End-to-end ownership of SAP technical solutions.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• SAP S/4HANA Technical Certification is a plus.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Exposure DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical Skills:
• SAP, SAP ABAP, SAP S/4HANA, RAP, CDS Views, OData V2, OData V4, REST APIs, SAP Gateway, SAP AIF, XML, JSON, Kafka, Eclipse ADT, SAP Web IDE, GitHub Enterprise.

Location & Compensation

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Bentonville, Arkansas (Open for remote)

Compensation Range: $94,000-$141,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
