  • Interpret study protocols and create study reference files for biospecimen management activities.
  • Accession and receive clinical and non-clinical samples using manual and automated processes.
  • Analyze sample metadata and resolve discrepancies using Microsoft Excel tools and formulas.
  • Execute specimen and data management activities within Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN), and related systems.
  • Coordinate sample management activities and fulfill biospecimen requests supporting bioanalytical and research initiatives.
  • Perform biospecimen reconciliation, data cleaning, and sample transfer documentation activities.
  • Support audit readiness and assist with quality audit documentation and study audit activities.
  • You adapt to changing priorities while managing multiple assignments with accuracy.

This role requires:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 0 to 4 years of relevant post-degree laboratory experience.
  • Knowledge of clinical and non-clinical study protocols and associated documentation.
  • Experience handling sample accessioning, receipt, reconciliation, and biospecimen data management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including analysis of sample metadata using complex formulas.
  • Experience using systems such as Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELN).
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot routine issues related to protocols, documentation, sample processes, and software systems.
  • Experience supporting audit readiness, SOP compliance, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal stakeholders, contract research organizations, and vendors.
  • Ability to manage high-volume work, multitask effectively, support cross-functional teams, and contribute to staff training activities.

Salary Range (annually)

$66,300.00 - $98,500.00
