Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Development Engineer to support the development, customization, integration, and ongoing enhancement of enterprise-scale Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on developer with expertise in Salesforce Development, Lightning, and Salesforce API integrations. The role will work within a cross-functional Scrum environment supporting iterative application releases, enterprise integrations, automated build and deployment processes, and Salesforce Service Cloud. The position is onsite in Dallas and requires participation in an onsite interview.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, implement, and support enterprise Salesforce applications.
• Build solutions using Apex, Visualforce, triggers, batch Apex, Salesforce APIs, and Force.com.
• Design, develop, and enhance applications using Lightning, including Lightning components, Lightning events, the Lightning Framework, and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Streaming APIs.
• Support complex integrations across the native Salesforce ecosystem and external applications and services.
• Contribute to the design, automation, deployment, testing, and support of large-scale technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain web services and API-based solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated build processes, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support continuous integration, automation, and iterative deployment processes.
• Maintain and enhance Salesforce Service Cloud applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams through iterative development and release cycles.
• Own technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with developers, product partners, and other stakeholders to deliver Salesforce solutions.
Required Qualifications
• 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Visualforce, triggers, batch Apex, Salesforce APIs, and Force.com.
• Strong Lightning development experience, including Lightning components, Lightning events, Lightning Framework, and Salesforce Lightning Design System.
• Strong experience with Salesforce API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Streaming APIs.
• Experience developing web services and API-based solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated build processes, testing, and deployment.
• Experience supporting integrations across the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing Salesforce Service Cloud applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong Apex coding skills with production-level development experience.
• Ability to take ownership of technical analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with MuleSoft, ETL processes, or comparable third-party integration platforms.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise technical infrastructure and application environments.
• Experience with complex Salesforce integrations involving multiple API types.
• Experience working in structured CI/CD and automated deployment environments.
• Experience collaborating effectively with developers, product partners, and other stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.
Certifications (if any)
• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred.
