Role Overview

We're seeking a hands-on Salesforce Developer who pairs strong Apex/LWC skills with practical experience enabling Salesforce AI/Einstein features (Prediction Builder, Discovery, Next Best Action, Data Cloud, CRM Analytics). You'll help TAMS teams deliver AI-assisted workflows and insights for healthcare operations, ensuring scale, security, and compliance (HIPAA/PHI).

Key Responsibilities
  • Build on-platform AI features:
    • Implement Einstein/Prediction Builder models and integrate predictions into record pages, flows, and LWC.
    • Configure Next Best Action strategies with invocable actions and decisioning rules.
    • Use Einstein Discovery/CRM Analytics to surface prescriptive insights in Salesforce.
    • Leverage Data Cloud (if in-scope) for profile unification, calculated insights, and activations.
  • Application development:
    • Design and develop Apex (triggers, classes, REST), LWC, and Flows with test coverage and guardrails.
    • Create scalable, reusable components to consume AI outputs (scores, recommendations) in UI and automation.
  • Data and integration:
    • Build robust API integrations (REST/SOAP, Platform Events) with enterprise systems (eligibility, claims, provider, care/UM).
    • Partner with data teams on feature engineering, data contracts, data quality, and monitoring for AI use cases.
  • Governance & DevOps:
    • Follow HIPAA/PHI handling, Salesforce Shield/data masking where applicable, and least-privilege patterns.
    • Use SFDX/Git-based CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and proper branching/release management.
  • Quality & Observability:
    • Establish test strategies (unit/integration/UAT), monitoring, bias checks for predictions, and result explainability.
    • Document solution designs, runbooks, and KT for TAMS support teams.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years Salesforce development (Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, Platform Events) with enterprise-scale releases.
  • Hands-on with Salesforce AI/Einstein in production (at least two of):
    • Prediction Builder (end-to-end: dataset, labels, model deployment, embedding predictions in flows/LWC)
    • Einstein Discovery / CRM Analytics (Tableau CRM) (stories, what-if analysis, prescriptions)
    • Next Best Action (strategy builder, action frameworks)
    • Data Cloud (data streams, identity resolution, calculated insights, activations)
  • Strong API/integration skills (Apex callouts, Named Credentials, OAuth 2.0; middleware familiarity a plus).
  • Proven experience in healthcare domain (payer/provider), or similarly regulated industries; working knowledge of HIPAA/PHI safeguards.
  • Solid CI/CD with SFDX and Git; code quality tooling; automated tests (&Client;75% coverage with meaningful assertions).
  • Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I (required). (List all current certs on submission.)

Nice-to-Have
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II, Data Cloud Consultant, CRM Analytics & Einstein Discovery certs.
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Event-Driven patterns, and external model integrations via invocable actions.
  • Feature engineering/data quality for predictions; bias/accuracy monitoring playbooks.
  • Healthcare standards exposure (FHIR/HL7, payer data models, UM/authorizations).
  • Shield (encryption, FLS, audit trail), Transaction Security.
