Full Job Description
Please Note: This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week. Additionally, employment with BambooHR is contingent on passing both a background and credit check.

Essential Job Duties

First, let us tell you a few neat things about this position. Drum roll please...This is not a position that comes around every day. Plus, our structure of Salesforce Administration is entirely different from most places. You do not report into Sales Operations, in fact, you do not report into Sales at all; you actually would report into the Technical Operations department which is under our centralized Business Operations umbrella. This is an impactful differentiator for a number of reasons - your time is protected (the goal is to have more time for proactive projects than what you spend on reactive ad hoc tasks), you are a partner rather than a support-function to the many internal stakeholders you work with (sales, marketing, operations groups), AND finally - being in Technical Operations enables you to help make Salesforce the platform technology we utilize it as (SalesCloud, ServiceCloud, etc.) by lessening conflicting department-specific priorities. If all that fun stuff wasn't eye-catching enough, let's just call out two more things. You will have work life balance in this role (not a joke, we're for reals), and the way we utilize Salesforce and our many integrations (Greenhouse, NetSuite, Marketo, etc.) means you will get exposure and gain technical know-how that takes some many years due to being siloed.

Now onto the specifics! As a Salesforce Administrator you will manage the Salesforce application, configuring integrations, creating and managing custom fields and objects, and maintaining data cleanliness. In addition, you will partner with the other operations teams in BizOps to create new processes as well as add enhancements to existing processes. Salesforce is one of our main platform technologies and the big goal is to have a 360 view of all the data to make our customer and employee experience as efficient and effective as possible.

You will:
  • Provide day-to-day end user support of Salesforce.com including providing best practices and tips on Salesforce usage (training and documentation as necessary)
  • Perform administrator functions in Lightning such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity and storage management
  • Manage and customize dashboards, reports, forms templates, page layouts, flows, and approvals, create and maintain custom objects, object relationships, standard and custom fields
  • Integrate, manage and maintain third party apps and make recommendations on tools that will provide better user experience and efficiency
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and corresponding documentation and provide new functionality and solutions as needed - including actively tracking and evaluating new AI-powered features as Salesforce continues to expand its Einstein and Agentforce capabilities
  • Contribute to strategic and impactful projects (including project meetings, research, scoping time, documentation, building flows in Lucidcharts, etc.)
  • Plan sprints in Wrike to work towards continuous improvement and organization of work
  • Leverage AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance the Salesforce experience for internal stakeholders

What You Need to Get the Job Done
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification required; Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator II strongly preferred
  • Additional certifications that will set you apart: Salesforce AI Associate or AI Specialist Certification, Salesforce Platform App Builder
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Salesforce Admin capacity (this is an intermediate-level role)
  • Salesforce.com skills including Salesforce Flow Builder and intermediate logic skills (nested IF/THEN statements and other functions)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Einstein AI features and a genuine curiosity about how AI is reshaping the Salesforce ecosystem - you don't just keep up, you lean in
  • Comfort using AI tools (such as Claude, Claude Code, Gemini, or similar) in day-to-day work to increase productivity and solve problems faster
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce DevOps concepts - sandbox management, change sets, and deployment best practices; experience with a dedicated deployment tool such as Gearset or similar is a plus
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodology and using a project tracking tool such as Jira (or similar) to manage work, track progress, and communicate with stakeholders
  • You have great project management skills, including the ability to navigate stakeholder relationships and expectations
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills - you can confidently manage competing priorities across multiple projects and daily requests without losing momentum
  • Proficient in data management and manipulation using Excel or Google Sheets, with hands-on experience using Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, or similar for data imports, exports, and mass updates
  • You remain composed and solution-focused under pressure, maintaining a high standard of work even when timelines are tight or situations are ambiguous
  • You approach complex problems methodically and with confidence - the harder the challenge, the more invested you are in finding the right solution

What Will Make Us REALLY Love You
  • You have extreme knowledge of the inner workings of Salesforce
  • The ability to turn almost any idea into a working product with little oversight is one of your strengths
  • Not only can you function as a contributor to a project, but you also have experience leading and driving projects
  • You have the ability to communicate technical info to both technical and non-technical audiences (written and verbally)
  • Intermediate business analysis skills - you are able to look at processes and how data flows, and understand the business value of decisions
  • You have hands-on experience with Salesforce Einstein AI features (Einstein Analytics, Einstein GPT, Agentforce, or similar) and can speak to how you've used them to deliver business value
  • You proactively seek out new AI tools and capabilities - not because you were asked to, but because staying ahead of the curve genuinely excites you
  • Some developer-level exposure to Salesforce - you may not write code yourself, but you can read and troubleshoot Apex triggers, classes, and Lightning Web Components well enough to partner effectively with developers
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud - particularly building and managing partner or customer-facing portals and communities

What You'll Love About Us
  • A Great Company Culture that has been recognized by multiple organizations like Inc, and Salt Lake Tribune
  • Comprehensive health, life, and disability insurance
  • Generous leave policies that include 4 weeks of vacation, 12 company holidays, parental leave, and volunteer time off so you can enjoy quality of life
  • 401k plans with up to 6% company match
  • $2000 Paid-Paid Vacation bonus
  • EAP through Headspace
  • Check out all our benefits that benefit you
