What This Position Is About:

This role is centered on empowering our field sales team through hands-on coaching, training, and continuous skill development, helping individuals and teams perform at their best.

As a highly collaborative and field-focused position, it offers the opportunity to work directly with sales professionals in their day-to-day environment, providing practical guidance, feedback, and support that drives measurable results.

The role involves regular travel, with approximately 70%-80% of time spent in the field, typically 3-4 days per week. This extensive exposure to the business allows you to build strong relationships, identify development opportunities, and play a key role in enhancing sales effectiveness and professional growth across the team.

Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Participate in developing and implementing coaching and training plans aligned with corporate objectives.
    Support skill development for existing employees, new hire training, and succession planning.
    • Work closely with Division Sales Managers to deliver in-field training for Trade Marketing Representatives (TMRs).
    • Identify individual development needs of TMRs, provide feedback and recommendations to District Sales Managers, and help close performance gaps.
    • Assess region-wide development opportunities and share actionable insights with Regional Sales Managers and the National Training Manager.
    • Provide Coaching & Development forms and tools to support field team growth.
    • Conduct in-person group training sessions on key development areas.
    • Assist with onboarding and in-field training of new TMRs in coordination with District Sales Managers.
    • Contribute to the planning and execution of National Training Programs.
    • Willingness to travel up to 70% across the U.S. to conduct field training.
    • Must be able to travel to the Corporate Office in North Carolina as needed.


Who Are We Looking For - Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree required.
    • 3-5 years of experience in sales or sales training within a multinational FMCG organization; tobacco industry experience is a plus but not essential.
    • Fluent in English, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational, planning, and presentation abilities, along with proven skills in communication, motivation, emotional intelligence, and coaching.
    • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Experience with sales reporting tools (e.g., Synergy or similar platforms) is preferred.
